The carved case looks beautiful on the shelf, and opening one tiny book each morning became our favorite part of December.
I assumed the covers would be printed card and the inside blank. They open, and there is real text on the pages.
What is inside
A miniature bookcase with a hinged glass-front door. Open it and you'll find twenty-five numbered drawers, five across and five down.
The books
Each drawer holds one tiny book, wrapped and waiting. They're proper little books — real covers, real pages that turn — about six centimetres tall, so one sits right in your palm.
After Christmas
Every book has a thin gold cord through the corner, so once it's opened it goes straight on the tree. By the 25th you'll have twenty-five ornaments and a bookcase to keep them in until next year.
The two editions
Midwinter Teal has sea green drawers, Firelight Red has deep green drawers. The same twenty-five books are inside either one, so pick the case you like.

Twenty five ornaments by Christmas Day
Every book comes on a gold cord. Open one a day, hang it on the tree, and by the twenty fifth the tree is full of them.
Then they go back in the bookcase until next December.

What is the difference between the two editions?
Only the case colour. Midwinter Teal has sea green drawers, Firelight Red has deep green drawers — the same 25 books are inside either one.
Is it a good gift?
Yes — it's built to be opened one day at a time through December, then kept as ornaments and a bookcase for years afterward. Order early if it needs to arrive by a specific date.
